After searching South Africa for over 7 months, we have managed to procure a beautiful piece of African Elephant skin, this piece comes from Zimbabwe, and we can make exactly 10 pairs. It is superb, we have trialed one pair and there is nothing quite like it! As the cost is extremely high, we wanted the best, so we thought we might as well use the Rollce Royce midsole material, used by orthopedics to build in soles, this material is the best on the market and these plakkies will last a long time, not to say our others won't, these will last longer and wear better with time as handmade products do. But of course, the most outstanding leather one will ever encounter, it feels like gentle sandpaper. It holds your foot nicely and with the addition of the arch support and perfect blend of a truly African plakkie. Using our beautiful Walnut straps and liners, you want your flip flop to fit snug, after wearing them in the shower a couple times, the wear in process will begin and before you know it, they will be fitting like a glove.
